“Tuscany is a nice place to visit, but I’d really rather live there.”

Tuscany is really a great place.  It is full of little hill towns, great wineries, fantastic scenery and outstanding restaurants.  Beyond that the cities in Tuscany are repositories of some of the world’s greatest masterpieces.  Combine that with the warm and welcoming people and you will know why we love it so.

In 2000 a group of 12 of us rented a villa at Montestigliano just outside of Sienna.  It was one of those trips that just grabs a chunk of your memory and will not let go.  So we decided to do the impossible — go home again. 

With 12 people telling everyone they knew about the trip it was a obvious the group would be larger on the second visit.  The size has more than doubled.  As of this writing we now number 25 and have a waiting list.  With that many people we need to do some planning.  Hence this site.
