Restaurant Pourquoi Pas

Doris "reads" a cookbook.

he plan for Friday is to relax. There are still books to read. Clothes need to be washed and we need to start repacking for the next leg of the trip.

It is time to reflect on the experience. We are in wine country and everywhere one looks there are vineyards with folks working constantly to keep things in order.

Pool and vines

Outside of our house the vineyards stretch all the way to Olonzac.

In this view from the terrace you see the pool and vineyards beyond.

This little tractor is used to work the vineyards. It is very narrow and fits neatly between the rows.

Yvonne visits and we settle up for her efforts on our behalf.

Here Lori and Yvonne chat while Jerry updates his Palm Pilot with all the new contact information.

The "hand' belongs to Peg as she prepares to refresh our wine glasses.

Jerry & YvonneYvonne is providing Jerry with some kind of important information. Unfortunately Jerry can't remember just what it was.

Peg and Cliff take a last look.Peg and Cliff take a long look as they prepare to say farewell to Cesseras.

This was truly a wonderful week and it is hard for everyone to say goodbye.

We cap off the day by going back to Aigne for dinner at the Lo Cagaroi.

It was a great day but sad at times as we realize it may be some time before we get the chance to renew these new friendships.

Tomorrow we start back to the Provence and the the next leg of the trip.
