next leg of our trip ends in Cesseras. This is
where we rented an absolutely fabulous home in a small village in
the Languedoc region of France. It was the centerpiece of our trip
- the goal and the purpose.

In the Paris section we meet with the owners, Isabelle & Bernard,
for a glass of wine. They proved to be gracious and wonderful hosts.
Rent
this house! You will thank us for the recommendation. It
is a great value and located in an interesting area that is not
inundated by tourists.
 This
very unique and inviting home was built over 100 years ago by the
great-grandfather of the current owner and was, until recently,
used as a family wine cellar. It was carefully, and with great taste
converted into a home by your hosts. The family came from the village
of Minerve in the early 17th century, where they lived since the
early 15th century.
Isabelle, Bernard
and their 4 children are based in Paris. Isabelle is a paintings
restorer and runs a busy Antiques shop dealing with 18th & 19th
century pieces. As an advertising photographer Bernard works all
over the world. It’s the simple reason that you'll discover
inside their beautiful home interesting furniture, paintings, drawings,
photos, crafts, books, etc.
From the covered
stone terrace where you will enjoy taking all of your meals, one
oversees down below both gardens where a variety of flowers abounds,
the 11m x 4,50m swimming pool surrounded by a granite large edge,
a great pool house, and in the distance, for miles around, the countryside
of vineyards, olive groves, & fields.
Right at the
edge of the terrace a hammock awaits you for an afternoon nap, read
a magazine or a novel, or simply admire the surrounding countryside!!
